BREAKING: EPA Approves 2,4-D "Agent Orange" for GMO crops - Contribute now to help pass GMO labeling initiatives in Colorado and Oregon and make sure pesticide-ridden foods don’t sneak onto our plates >>
Dear Chris, this is crushing news:
Earlier today, at 12 PM, noon Eastern Standard Time today, the Environmental Protection Agency approved Enlist Duo, a toxic herbicide made from “Agent Orange” 2,4-D and glyphosate, the main chemical component in Monsanto’s “Roundup.”  This noxious mix of chemicals will now be used on Dow’s new herbicide-resistant corn and soy seeds, which have already been approved by the USDA.
Right now we have a chance to make sure dangerous chemicals don’t wind up unannounced in our food supply. GMO labeling initiatives on the ballot in Colorado and Oregon would require pesticide-ridden genetically engineered foods to be clearly labeled. Chip in whatever you can now to help pass GMO labeling, we urgently need your help to keep this new generation of toxic GMO crops off our plates. Every dollar counts!
If you donate today, your donation will be matched 3 to 1 by the incredible teams at Presence Marketing and Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps.
Please, Chris – don't miss this chance to have your gift matched by pitching in whatever you can. Every dollar counts!
Triple your impact before time runs out – we need to hear from you today!
https://fdn.actionkit.com/donate/breaking_EPA_approves_new_Agent_Orange_GMO_weedkiller_take_a_stand/?t=5&akid=1364.369335.3tlZ7V
It’s a dangerous cycle. Toxic chemical cocktails are over-sprayed, making genetically engineered crops resistant to the poisonous herbicides. Then, Monsanto and Dow make new, even more toxic herbicides to spray on the crops resistant to their weedkillers. And on and on the treadmills goes.
These toxic chemicals contaminate our food and water and pose significant risk to developing infants and children. Exposure to 2,4-D has been linked to cancer, Parkinson’s disease, endocrine disruption, and reproductive problems. 2,4-D is already the 7th largest source of dioxins in the U.S. and by the EPA’s own estimation, the approval of “Enlist Duo” will lead to an unprecedented 2 to 7 fold increase in its use.
According to the USDA, by 2020, the use of 2,4-D could skyrocket to over 650%. This is outrageous and a serious threat to our health, our environment and our food supply.
Yes, I want to chip in to defeat Monsanto and their cronies at Dow Chemical to keep "Agent Orange" GMOs off my plate! Every dollar counts!
We all deserve to decide for ourselves what we’re putting  -- and not putting -- in our bodies. This starts with standing up to Monsanto and Dow now and passing GMO labeling initiatives in Colorado and Oregon this November.
Passing this legislation would be an amazing step for the future of GMO labeling. If we win, it could be the spark that ignites a frenzy of labeling legislation around the country. With pesticide use expected to continue rising, we need to protect our consumer rights before it’s too late.
Ballots go out this week in Oregon and Colorado – that makes every dollar you give today absolutely crucial.
Chris, contribute today to help take the fight to Monsanto, Dow Chemical and the pesticide pushers to keep GMOs off your plate. With your help, we will win! Click here to donate $10 or more. Every bit counts.

It’s a dangerous cycle. Toxic chemical cocktails are over-sprayed, making weeds in fields of genetically engineered crops resistant to the poisonous herbicides. Then, Monsanto and Dow make new, even more toxic herbicides to spray on the GMO crops resistant to their weedkillers. Already the over application of Monsanto's Roundup has led to more than 70 million acres of superweeds, which is why biotech seed companies are desperate to apply 2,4-D and more toxic chemicals and our government is foolishly approving them.
By the USDA’s own estimates, introducing these new resistant crops means increasing pesticide use significantly. By 2020, the use of 2,4-D could skyrocket to over 650%. This is outrageous and a serious threat to our health, our environment and our food supply.

Down with Genetically Modified Oganismsr!

GMO Foods are FRANKENFOODS made to profit the MANUFACTURER and can seriously INJURE your health!

defeating Monsanto

Food Democracy Now! Team <info@fooddemocracynow.org>

Every dollar you donate today will grow to $3 with generous donations from Mercola.com and Dr. Bronner's to win the fight for GMO labeling!
COLORADO Qualifies for November Ballot - Yes on 105  - to label GMOs - You IN?
Dear Chris,
It’s Official, Monsanto is hitting the panic button!
Last week Monsanto and the GMA donated $1.8 million to defeat GMO labeling in Oregon and now they have to battle us in two states!
Incredible news! Earlier this week the Colorado Secretary of State officially qualified a citizens-led initiative to label genetically engineered foods for the November ballot in Colorado.
We need your help today to help defeat Monsanto and Big Food's GMO lie machine.
Right now the USDA is finalizing their approval of three new Agent Orange GMO crops, designed to resist the rampant spraying of a toxic chemical cocktail composed of 2,4-D and Roundup and this week Monsanto executives are telling the Wall Street Journal that their new GMO soybeans will be approved by the end of the year.
When these new GMOs are approved, they’ll appear unlabeled on your plates unless we win this fall in Oregon and Colorado.
We have $23,738 to raise in the next 48 hours to meet our goal of $100,000 for August so we can defeat Monsanto and win GMO labeling in Oregon and Colorado! If you donate today, your contribution will be matched 3 to 1 by the incredible teams at Mercola.com and Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps.
Please, Chris – don't miss this chance to have your gift matched by pitching in whatever you can. Every dollar counts!
Triple your impact before time runs out – we need to hear from you today!

Colorado and Oregon: NOW the Game is On and Monsanto is Panicking!
Already, you’ve helped pass strong GMO labeling bills in Connecticut, Maine and Vermont and now we need to pass ballot initiatives in Oregon and Colorado to knock Monsanto’s secret plan to kill GMO labeling in Washington DC out for good.
In the past 2 years, Monsanto and the GMA spent more than $70 million to defeat GMO labeling in California and Washington State alone, but they can’t keep us down!
Monsanto is going to come at us with all they've got -- we need to be prepared NOW.
Yes, I want to chip in to defeat Monsanto and be a part of the Grassroots Surge to defeat Monsanto's lie machine! Every dollar counts!
